NESA’s primary objective is to significantly
enhance the quality of life for residents of the
region by creating additional jobs and capital
investment within the existing industry
base as well as through recruitment of new
companies and expansion of tourism related
development.
Key Initiatives of the North Eastern Strategic
Alliance include the development of the
following:
• Interstate 73
• A Regional International Airport
• An International Trade and
Convention Center
• A Power Generation Facility
The NESA organization is extremely
focused on creating transportation and other
infrastructure critical to the accelerated
economic growth of the region. A key asset
in the NESA region is extensive financial
support and guidance provided by business
executives and local political leaders and the
legislative delegation.
